On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, The National Security Institute (NSI), in partnership with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, welcomed former Congressman and CIA Officer Will Hurd to discuss his new book, American Reboot: An Idealist’s Guide to Getting Big Things Done. During the event, Rep. Hurd spoke about how his approach of “pragmatic idealism” can offer Americans a fresh start to a country mired in political divides and internal strife, offered perspectives gained from his time serving in Congress and in the Intelligence Community, and shared his thoughts on the most pressing national security issues facing the United States.

On May 4, 2022, ICS Village, in partnership with the National Security Institute, Atlantic Council, Crowell & Moring LLP, the Cyber Bytes Foundation, the Maryland Innovation Security Institute, the National Security Institute, and the R Street Institute, presented Hack the Capitol 5.0, a day-long, multi-track event designed to educate congressional staffers, scholars, and the press on some of the most critical cybersecurity challenges facing our nation today.
